Car Rental Agent

Sun Diego Car Rental has an opportunity for a part-time customer service agent at our main location near the San Diego Airport. We are a company founded on treating our customers with the upmost respect and focusing on making their trip seamless. We are looking for the following:

An enthusiastic and driven person who is eager to be part of our team. Someone who can multitask and thrive under pressure. A person who can effectively communicate and listen when working with a client. Dependability and availability are a must for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Detailed oriented individual who can provide outstanding customer service. Must be able to retain names well.
• Answer questions regarding reservations and rentals.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections for rentals.
• Gather documents from customers.
• Prepare and create rental agreements.
• Providing customers with undivided attention while working on their rentals and or reservations.
• Filing and other office duties.
• Answer emails and reach out to customer via emails/phone.
• Driving vehicles
• To be able to assist upper management.
• Ordering parts and keeping tabs on vehicle maintenance.
• Collecting Payment.

Qualifications:

• Must be over the age of 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• High school Diploma and or G.E.D. (College education preferred)
• Minimum of two years customer service.
• Can handle multiple tasks at a given time.
• Sales background, 2 years. (preferred)
• Has basic knowledge of operating Windows.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must consent to a background check (paid by employer)
• English/Spanish speaker (helpful)
• Apart from religious observances, must have open availability and must be able to workdays, nights, weekends and holidays.

Pay:

• Starting pay is 20 dollars an hour.
• Company car after 90 days with a good driving record. (If promoted to full time)
• Paid sick days and paid vacation (if promoted to full time)
• 401K after 90 days (if promoted to full time)
• Dental insurance after 90 days (if promoted to full time)
