CAR RENTAL DRIVER

About the Role

Rent Solutions is seeking a reliable and professional Car Rental Driver to support daily fleet, branch, customer, and staff transportation operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transferring vehicles between warehouses, branches, customer locations, and service points while ensuring vehicles are inspected, clean, roadworthy, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transfer light vehicles between warehouses, branches, customer locations, service centers, and other assigned destinations.
• Support vehicle replacement, delivery, collection, and movement requirements in line with operational schedules.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspection checks before and after each trip, including exterior condition, fuel level, mileage, lights, tires, cleanliness, and visible damage.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, damages, delays, or maintenance requirements immediately to the supervisor or concerned team.
• Assist in implementing vehicle maintenance plans by taking vehicles to service centers, workshops, inspections, or registration-related appointments as required.
• Complete vehicle check-in and check-out procedures accurately using the required mobile application or company system.
• Ensure all receiving and delivery documents are completed, signed, and submitted according to company procedures.
• Transport staff, sales personnel, customers, documents, and other approved items safely and professionally when required.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, readiness, and professional appearance at all times.
• Follow Qatar traffic laws, road safety rules, company policies, and customer service standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with customers, staff, and company information.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor to support fleet and branch operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

· High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

License / Certification

· Valid Qatar light vehicle driving license is required.

· Clean driving record with no major traffic violations is preferred.

Experience

· Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably in Qatar or within a fleet, rental, logistics, transportation, or customer service environment.

· Experience handling vehicle delivery, collection, inspection, or replacement activities is an advantage.

Knowledge

· Good knowledge of Qatar roads, traffic regulations, routes, and safe driving practices.

· Basic understanding of vehicle condition checks, cleanliness standards, and reporting requirements.

Skills

· Safe, defensive, and responsible driving behavior.

· Good customer service and interpersonal skills.

· Punctual, reliable, well-mannered, and able to work under operational timelines.

· Ability to follow instructions, complete documents accurately, and coordinate with internal teams.

Language Skills

· Basic to good English communication skills are required.

· Arabic or additional language skills are an advantage.

Computer / Mobile Skills

· Ability to use mobile applications for vehicle check-in, check-out, trip updates, and basic data entry.

· Basic familiarity with digital forms, messages, and location/navigation applications is preferred.

Candidate Profile

· Professional, courteous, and customer-focused.

· Flexible to support operational needs, including vehicle movements across branches and service locations.

· Trustworthy and able to handle company vehicles and customer interactions responsibly.

· Physically able to perform routine vehicle checks and support light operational tasks when required.

Pay: QAR2,050.00 per month
