Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Car Salesman to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, a fantastic work ethic and a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service. As a Car Salesman, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the car buying process, from initial contact to final sale, ensuring a positive experience that fosters long-term relationships.

Duties

• Engage with potential customers through various channels, including internet and in-person interactions, to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer preferences and recommend suitable vehicles.
• Demonstrate vehicles to customers, highlighting features and benefits while addressing any questions or concerns.
• Utilize dealership software to manage customer information, track sales progress, and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with customers throughout the sales process, ensuring clarity and transparency.
• Follow up with leads and past customers to nurture relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Maintain an organized workspace and keep track of inventory levels for optimal sales performance.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve dealership goals and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in outside sales or automotive sales is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
• Proficiency in basic math skills for calculating payments and financing options.
• Familiarity with dealership software systems is a plus.
