Who are we looking for?

Our client a Global Payments Firm is currently carrying out a project for a Leading Bank in Kuwait. To support with this, our client is looking to onboard a Card Portfolio Manager to join their team.

This individual would be required to enhance customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through targeted, data-informed lifecycle marketing strategies that optimize card portfolio performance and align with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze debit and credit card portfolio performance across acquisition, activation, usage, and retention metrics.
  • Identify and recommend targeted campaigns to drive spend, reduce attrition, and increase customer engagement
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to design and launch lifecycle campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to inform strategy.
  • Prepare and present regular portfolio performance reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal risk policies.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel lifecycle marketing campaigns (email, mobile, digital, direct mail).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal) to ensure campaign alignment and governance.
  • Continuously test, measure, and optimize campaign effectiveness using A/B testing and performance analytics.
  • KPI: Increase in card activation and usage rates, Reduction in customer attrition, Campaign ROI and conversion rates, Customer engagement metrics (e.g., open/click rates, spend lift) ,Compliance and audit adherence.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field
  • Experience in financial services, preferably in cards or payments
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills using data
  • Understanding of customer segmentation and personalization strategies
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign)
  • Proven experience in card portfolio performance analysis
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing (Cards)
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Campaign performance tracking & reporting
  • Stakeholder communication and presentation
  • Regulatory awareness in financial marketing
  • Project management and cross-functional collaboration
