Job Summary and Responsibilities

Responsible for providing nursing care for patients in accordance with YRMC established policies, operating practices, guidelines and national standards of care to foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.

Job Requirements

Minimum

Associate degree of Nursing
One year acute care RN experience
Registered Nurse: AZ (RN:AZ)
Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of position
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, providing excellent customer service
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows.

Preferred

Bachelors degree of Nursing
Two years of medical/surgical
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, Cerner experience
12-lead EKG skills
Knowledge of cardiac monitoring systems
