JOB DESCRIPTION:

Olympic Medical Physicians’ Cardiology clinics are located in Port Angeles and Sequim, on Washington State’s beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. We have an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collegial team.

This Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) position is primarily outpatient with no call. In collaboration with our Cardiologists, OMP Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinicians provide specialty outpatient cardiac consultation and follow-up care in the clinic and Heart Center setting.

EDUCATION
Graduate of a physician assistant program and certified by the State
OR
Masters of Science in Nursing, Masters of Nursing or equivalent Nurse Practitioner Degree.

EXPERIENCE

2 years of cardiology experience preferred OR

May consider 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care setting plus fluent ECG reading skills

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS
Current Washington State RN Licensure.
ARNP with prescriptive authority in Washington State OR Current Washington State PA-C Licensure and prescriptive authority.
Maintains current DEA registration.
Maintains current CPR.
Maintains appropriate scope of practice/privileges and membership on the OMC Allied Health Professional Staff.
