Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Location: Lecanto & Inverness, FL

Citrus Cardiology Consultants, a partner of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiology team. This position includes a mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities in Lecanto and Inverness.

Our practice focuses on teamwork, quality patient care, and a supportive environment for both new and experienced providers. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in building a long-term career in general cardiology. New graduates with a strong interest in cardiology are encouraged to apply.

Position Details

• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
• One weekend per month (shared rotation)
• Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient responsibilities
• Locations: Lecanto and Inverness
• Exposure to a wide range of general cardiology cases
• Collaborative team of cardiologists and APPs
• Employed position with full benefits

Responsibilities

• Provide care in both clinic and hospital settings
• Evaluate patients and manage follow-up visits
• Manage chronic cardiac conditions and medications
• Review diagnostic tests and help guide treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and care team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP or PA-C)
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
