Job Summary/Purpose:
Manage a team of sales professionals in order to promote product sales, achieve sales targets, turnover, profit, market share growth and customer satisfaction index.

Job Responsibilities



Responsibilities:
 Strategic:
1. Prepare annual sales plans and budgets to meet Heavy Equipment Sales strategic planning requirements.
2. Monitor implementation of the annual plans and measure achievements of results against the budgets and objectives and take corrective measures as appropriate.
3. Recommend annual marketing and sales strategy, such as pricing, stock levels, etc...
 Operational:
1. Assign performance targets in terms of sales revenue, customer satisfaction index (CSI), product category and geographical area, etc... based on such factors as stock movement, sales history and forecasts, sales budgets, product mix, etc...
2. Prepare sales forecast for the sales division, review stocks and present actuals at the end of every month to GM, BTC.
3. Bid for direct tenders and for sub- contractors, negotiate prices, specifications modifications, finalize prices and ensure submission of tender on Closing Date.
4. Review and approve quotations, conduct negotiations with customers and offer discount above set limit.
5. Review data on competitor's activities, analyze market trends, conduct competition analysis and make recommendations to GM, BTC for enhancing market share.
6. Monitors follow up on quotations, conduct analysis of lost deals and offer justification to GM, BTC in weekly meeting.
7. Update Service and Parts divisions on sales position.
8. Coordinate with Principals for obtaining updates on technical details of the products.
9. Analyze market trends to provide feedback to the Principals.
10. Review Purchase Orders, obtain approval of Finance and GM, BTC and monitor process of arrival of products for sale.
11. Identify training needs of the sales team and groom on product knowledge and customer relationship.
12. Attend to customer queries, identify customer needs, and provide solutions to customer problems and prospect customers.
13. Initiate, plan and execute special projects relevant to customized equipment for dedicated applications.
14. Coordinate with distributors across the region, explore and develop business opportunities and mutual cooperation.
 People Management:
1. Identify, set and agree on KPIs and objectives.
2. Prepare performance planning (PP) and conduct performance appraisal (PA) and PP/PA interviews including employee development plans and counsel employees on career progression opportunities and approve training requests.
3. Recommend employee promotions, salary adjustments, disciplinary actions and approve vacation and overtime.
4. Identify staffing needs, participate in interviewing panels and take hiring decisions.
5. Maintain and promote staff motivation by addressing employee grievances promptly and escalating when necessary and enforcing fair and equitable compliance with Group policies and procedures.
 Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations.
 Document and maintain records of activities and process workflows on the internal communication portals.
 Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.
 Perform other duties as requested by management.
