Job Summary/Purpose:
Supervise daily operations of Heavy Equipment repair to ensure the vehicles are delivered on time and error free for high Customer Service Index.

Operational:
1. Supervise the daily operations of Heavy Equipment repairs, technicians availability, tools, equipment in order to deliver the vehicles with promised deadlines, with minimum cost and ensure safety policy is implemented.
2. Assign jobs to the technicians by signing job cards and monitor work for time, quality and efficiency through SAP/E-systems.
3. Schedule field service as per customer request, recall or service contract, arrange parts, prepare estimation, monitor job upon completion for quality control and visit customer for feedback.
4. Estimate demand for parts and follow up with Parts division for procurement.
5. Estimate demand for equipment and manpower and submit direct manager for availability.
6. Sublet jobs which the workshop is not equipped to perform, conduct tools inventory on quarterly basis and submit report to direct manager.
7. Monitor repairs of parts under warranty as per set procedures, ensure tagging and stocking of warranty parts and prepare appropriate warranty reports for further action.
8. Ensure periodical maintenance of workshop equipment/tools.
9. Monitor service work in progress and update reception desk on date of completion of work to maintain delivery schedule.
10. Prepare and submit technical report for Manufacturers upon approval of direct manager.
11. Provide technical training as per manufacturer's standards to the technicians.
12. Develop customer database, contact customers periodically for promotions, packager to assist business development.
13. Ensure excellent quality control at every stage of the repairs operation, spot checks on vehicles awaiting collection on daily basis and ensure prompt and correct processing of workshop documentation.
People Management:
1. Assign duties and examine work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance to policies and procedures.
2. Check employee attendance and report absence and attendance exceptions, prepare annual leave plan for employees and overtime sheets on SAP HCM for management approval.
3. Explain and advise staff on Group policy and quality standards and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
4. Provide on the job training and coaching to staff and provide information and necessary material to staff to carry out the jobs.
5. Receive grievances raised by subordinates and promptly escalate such grievances to management.
Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations.
Document and maintain records of activities and process workflows on the internal communication portals.
Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
