Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Caregiver, where your compassion and dedication will make a real difference in the lives of those you support! In this rewarding role, you will provide essential care to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being from Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 7 PM. You will engage with clients in a meaningful way while assisting them with daily activities and promoting their independence. Your skills and empathy will shine as you create a nurturing environment for those you serve.

What you’ll do

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide patient observation and monitor vital signs to ensure the health and safety of clients.
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism and dementia, through direct care and companionship.
• Maintain cleanliness in living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Medication Reminders
• Assisting with Client Transfers
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Engage clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.

Basic qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health or nursing home environments is preferred.

Preferred qualifications

• First aid and CPR certification are essential for ensuring client safety.
• Previous experience in group homes or assisted living facilities is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with hospice care practices and memory care techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
