Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the well-being and comfort of those you serve. You’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle while making a positive impact on others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for your clients.
• Keep records of client progress as required.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by maintaining personal care items and supplies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to align care plans and maintain client health objectives.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various client needs.
• Experience in healthcare or caregiving is a plus.
• Willingness to maintain client confidentiality and dignity.
• Have worked in any aspect of the mental health field.

Bonus If You:

• Have relevant certifications such as CNA, CPR or First Aid.
• Possess experience working with clients with dementia or other special needs.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is part-time evenings.
