Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through personalized care and support. This role requires a blend of practical caregiving skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in clients' health status.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Engage clients in activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, especially for those with Alzheimer's or dementia.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
• Ability to perform patient observation and monitoring effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and team members.
• Capability to handle heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.
• Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.

High School Diploma and Direct Care Certificate or a CNA Certificate are required for this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
