Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through personalized care and support. This role requires a blend of practical caregiving skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in clients' health status.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Engage clients in activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, especially for those with Alzheimer's or dementia.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
- Ability to perform patient observation and monitoring effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and team members.
- Capability to handle heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.
- Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.

High School Diploma and Direct Care Certificate or a CNA Certificate are required for this position.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
