Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Support childhood development through engaging activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional growth
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, dressing, and nap times in accordance with individual needs
• Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive behavior and emotional regulation
• Collaborate with families and team members to develop personalized care plans tailored to each child's unique requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
• Use first aid skills promptly when necessary and follow proper procedures for emergencies or injuries

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool settings, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Experience caring for infants and toddlers with patience and sensitivity
• Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is advantageous
• Strong understanding of behavior management techniques to support positive growth
• Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is appreciated
• Previous caregiving roles that involved teaching or caregiving in early childhood settings will be considered an asset
