About the Role Home Careolina is seeking a warm, patient, and dependable male caregiver to provide companionship and light support to an 85‑year‑old gentleman in Huntersville. This is a low‑physical‑demand role focused on meaningful connection, conversation, and occasional outings. The ideal candidate is someone mature who enjoys talking, listening, and spending time with seniors — especially someone who can relate to his interests, such as NASCAR, storytelling, and sharing life experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging companionship
• Go on local outings (drives, simple activities, etc.)
• Offer conversation, emotional support, and social interaction
• Encourage safe mobility (client uses cane/rollator)
• Light household support as needed (very minimal)
• Be comfortable around a small, friendly dog

• 85‑year‑old male living in Huntersville
• Mild cognitive decline but very conversational
• Loves storytelling and talking about NASCAR
• Enjoys having someone to spend time with weekly
• Has a small rescue dog (20 lbs, very sweet)
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Male caregiver preferred (client request)
• Someone older or mature who can relate to the client
• Reliable, patient, and friendly
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
• Comfortable driving client for short outings
• Experience with seniors is a plus but not required for this role
