Job Description – Evening Caregiver

Position Overview

Graceful Living Services LLC is seeking a dedicated and reliable Caregiver to provide support and assistance to clients. The caregiver will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients while maintaining compliance with all applicable state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and assistance as needed during the shift.
• Administer medications as delegated by the Registered Nurse and in accordance with physician orders.
• Assist clients with daily routines, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, showers, and meal preparation.
• Support clients in building skills, learning routines, and developing independence where possible.
• Create a positive and engaging environment by bonding with clients and offering companionship.
• Monitor client safety and respond to needs throughout the shift.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, including medication administration records.
• Follow care plans and instructions from supervisors, nurses, and case managers.
• Report any changes in client condition or concerns to the appropriate supervisor or nurse.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or related fields preferred (experience with children and medication administration is a plus).
• Interest in teaching, supporting, and encouraging clients in daily living skills.
• Ability to work evening shifts consistently.
• Must be reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow agency policies.
• Must pass background study and required health screenings.
