Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
• Support childhood development through engaging activities that promote learning and social skills
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and nap times for young children
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and emotional regulation
• Collaborate with families and team members to develop individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
• Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance
• Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is a plus
• Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding routines and developmental milestones
• Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively and compassionately in diverse situations
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, team members, and children effectively
• Passion for caregiving with a genuine desire to support children's growth and well-being

Pay: $21.70 - $26.14 per hour
