Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Support childhood development through engaging activities that promote learning and social skills
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and nap times for young children
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and emotional regulation
- Collaborate with families and team members to develop individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance
- Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is a plus
- Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding routines and developmental milestones
- Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively and compassionately in diverse situations
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, team members, and children effectively
- Passion for caregiving with a genuine desire to support children's growth and well-being
