Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Support childhood development through age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional growth
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and address behavioral challenges effectively
- Collaborate with families and team members to develop personalized care plans that meet individual needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Use your expertise in early childhood education to teach foundational skills and foster curiosity through play-based learning experiences
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting roles, or nannying positions is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Experience with behavior management techniques tailored for young children
- Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous to ensure quick response during emergencies
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special needs enhances your ability to provide inclusive care
- Classroom experience or daycare background provides valuable insight into child supervision and activity planning
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, team members, and children
