Caregiver

As a Caregiver, you will provide compassionate, attentive support to promote safety, development, and well-being. Duties

• Must know American Sign Language
• Provide attentive care while ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Assist with daily routines such as preparing meals, light cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Support education in our home with appropriate communication both verbal and American Sign Language, learning, play, and developmental exercises.
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions and emotional regulation.
• Support, encourage and take to activities in the community.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns using first aid skills when necessary.

Experience Familiar with behavior management techniques to support positive growth and social skills.

• Certification in first aid and CPR that is approved is required.
• Background check is required.
• Proof of auto insurance required.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
