Duties

• Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
• Assist with daily activities such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and dressing for young children
• Support early childhood development through engaging activities that promote learning and social skills
• Implement behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior and emotional regulation
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, or therapists to meet each child's unique needs and developmental goals
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities
• Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
• Familiarity with early childhood education practices and classroom experience
• Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families and team members
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is a plus
• Compassionate attitude with patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for caring for children with diverse needs
