Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive care to children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
• Support childhood development through engaging activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional growth
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times for young children
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behaviors and address challenges effectively
• Collaborate with families and team members to create personalized care plans tailored to each child's needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Provide emergency first aid when necessary and be prepared to respond swiftly to any incidents or health concerns

Qualifications

• Prior experience in childcare, daycare settings, babysitting, nannying, or early childhood education is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with families and team members
• Ability to manage behavior effectively while maintaining a caring approach
• Passion for nurturing children’s growth and creating a positive environment for learning and development
