Whether your loved one needs assistance with everyday tasks or is recovering from an injury or chronic illness, our caregivers will be there to provide the one-on-one, personalized care they deserve.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver (Flexible Hours) at Visiting Angels, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, personalized non-medical home care to senior clients. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that each client receives the means to maintain their independence and quality of life. This is an on-site position where you’ll have the flexibility to work across a variety of shifts to meet our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support clients with daily activities to promote independence and well-being.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Assist with medication reminders and light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Document care provided and maintain clear communication with family members and supervisors.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with seniors and their families.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.

Bonus If You:

• Have certifications in first aid or CPR.
• Are familiar with senior care and resources available in the community.
• Can demonstrate experience working with clients with chronic illnesses.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with flexibility to work any day of the week, including Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, primarily serving clients in Lincolnton, North Carolina.
