Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
• Document medical information thoroughly in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and ensure compliance with state healthcare regulations
• Respond promptly to emergency situations by providing first aid or CPR as needed and communicating effectively with healthcare teams

Experience
Candidates should bring proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments. Prior exposure to senior care and geriatric patient management is highly valued. Familiarity with medical documentation practices, medical terminology, and EHR/EMR systems such as Point Click Care enhances your effectiveness in this role. A strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and basic life support techniques (including CPR) is essential. Certification in first aid and CPR is required. Candidates must demonstrate excellent caregiver communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident personal care assistance while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
