Caregiver - Memory Care - Day

Jennings McCall has immediate opening for a full-time caregiver to join our team in our memory care community. We welcome walk in interviews Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. We can't wait to meet YOU!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the “Assisted Daily Living” duties and functions that allow the Residents to be clean and comfortable. i.e. transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, changing bed linens, etc.
• Physically ensures the Residents get to appointments such as salons, transportation, activities and meals, including pushing wheel chairs, following closely behind walkers, keeping track of and responding to schedules.
• Responsible for the Residents under their care & recording communications for co-workers, shift summaries, care notes, and MARS.
• Assist with orientations and or training of new employees when requested.
• Insure all licenses or permits required for your position are kept current and changes are communicated to supervisor.
• Participate in Service planning and implementation of Service Plans for Residents.
• Acts as a liaison between Residents and the charge Nurse and/or the Administrator.
• Recognize changes in Residents’ conditions and seek appropriate intervention.
• Operate equipment within scope of services provided, i.e. mechanical lifts, oxygen tanks, etc.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform fire and emergency drills, evacuations and procedures.
• All other duties that may be assigned by your supervisor or the Administrator.
