Caregiver/Med Tech

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate AZ licensed Caregiver to provide essential support in our 27-bed assisted living center.

Shifts include: Sunday & Friday 6am-2pm; Monday & Saturday 6am-6pm

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while respecting their rights and dignity. This role requires a strong commitment to caregiving and the ability to perform various tasks that may include heavy lifting.

Duties

• Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with nursing staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with medication schedules.
• Prepare nutritious meals while accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Support residents in participating in recreational activities and social events.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents.
• Uphold resident rights by fostering an atmosphere of respect and dignity.
• Provide direct support to residents in daily living activities, promoting independence.

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience as a licensed caregiver is preferred.
• Familiarity with care plans and medication administration is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for resident assistance.
• Knowledge of resident rights and advocacy principles is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
