Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
• Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care strategies
• Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts safely to aid mobility and prevent injury
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences
• Conduct routine cleaning of resident areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, social workers, and family members to coordinate comprehensive care plans
• Follow emergency procedures including first aid response when necessary
• Support residents with transportation needs, including driving to appointments or community outings

Experience

• Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of long-term care practices and resident-centered approaches
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general
• Proficiency in taking vital signs and administering medications accurately
• Hands-on experience using EMR systems for documentation purposes
• Valid driver’s license for transportation duties is a plus
• Certification in first aid or CPR highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving
• MUST HAVE GTUBE EXPERIENCE
• Shift; M-F 8am-1pm and then 3pm-6pm (Split Shift)
• Must be reliable and have reliable transportation
• Must have an active level 2 background screening in ClearingHouse

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
