Jenkins Home Care is currently accepting applications for Caregivers to join our team as we continue to grow and expand our services. Our caregivers are the heart of what we do, and we value the dedication and compassion they bring every day.

We are building a strong team of qualified caregivers for current and upcoming opportunities in:

• Dorchester County
• Berkeley County

As a member of the Jenkins Home Care team, you will not only provide essential home care services, but also build meaningful relationships and make a lasting impact in the lives of clients and their families.

Job Responsibilities

• You will be providing care for clients that are mobile/ immobile and recovering clients by providing support and comfort to them
• You also have to provide support with personal hygiene, including the brushing of the teeth and bathing.
• You will also be engaging with the client and helping them entertain them by playing games.
• The personal care aide will also have to perform basic light household duties for the client
• You assist with light meal prep and assistance with feeding
• You may also need to help them move by providing support and assisting them to walk
• Maintaining proper hygiene and ensuring a safe environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a caregiver or in a similar role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with clients of all ages
• Compassionate and patient personality
• Reliable transportation
• Fluency in English is required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
