Renowned Online Airline looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cargo Finance Officer to join our finance team in Karachi. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing cargo-related financial transactions, ensuring revenue accuracy, and supporting financial planning and reporting functions within the cargo division.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and reconcile cargo revenue, ensuring accuracy in billing and invoicing.
- Verify freight charges, surcharges, and other applicable fees in line with company tariffs.
- Coordinate with cargo operations and sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepare financial reports related to cargo performance, revenue, and cost analysis.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for cargo operations.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and aviation industry standards.
- Track outstanding receivables and follow up with agents and partners for timely recovery.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and financial data.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in aviation, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Good understanding of cargo billing and airline financial practices (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Knowledge of IATA cargo billing and settlement procedures.
- Ability to handle large datasets with accuracy.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
