Responsibilities

In line with customer requests communicated by the OEM Sales Operations Department / non-OEM Customer Representatives, review the ship plans, determine the real-time transport capacity, and update them accordingly.

Determine the volume and space occupied by the cargo based on its dimensions, weight, and images, and create the stowage plan for the cargo using the relevant software.

Coordinate with the captain to ensure that the cargo is stowed, secured, and unstowed correctly according to the arrival port rotation; also, confirm that the lowest cost re-stow operations for cargo to be taken from intermediate ports are planned.

Check the fuel quantities based on the vessel's route, departure, and arrival ports. Monitor the vessel's performance in accordance with the Charter Party Agreement.

Ensure the vessel plans are checked to enable the vessel to operate at maximum capacity. If necessary, ensure that updates or revisions are made to the vessel schedule.

In cases where the loading is to be carried out by the Port Captain, establish communication with the relevant Port Captain and ensure that the planning is done. Inform the port operations officers accordingly.

In case of issues such as underloading, loss, etc. during loading, immediately communicate relevant information and documents to the manager.

After the completion of loading, create a detailed Final Load List and send it to the relevant position.

Monitor ship operations through the relevant programs and create Voyage performance reports at the end of voyages, then submit them to the manager.

Monitor the daily fuel performance of ships, and in case of higher-than-expected consumption, communicate with the captain to inquire about the cause and present it to the manager.

Develop alternative solutions to prevent any disruption in ship operations during loading and unloading processes and implement actions to improve port operational efficiency.

Carry out activities to prevent legal risks that may arise during loading and unloading operations.

Carry out calculations in compliance with international regulations with the ship's captain and cargo officer, as part of the software used for vessel loading.

In the ship chartering processes, determine the on-hire and off-hire periods of the vessels, calculate the rental fees in accordance with the contract, and inform the Strategic Purchasing Department.

Monitor the Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) opened for the department and take necessary actions to ensure they are completed by the specified deadlines and closed within the required time frame.

Carry out tasks in accordance with processes, procedures, instructions, and other relevant documents, and monitor the risks and performance of the processes.

Identify areas for improvement observed in workflows to increase process efficiency and enhance quality, share them with managers, make recommendations, and propose innovative approaches.

Fulfill the requirements imposed by the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 and related regulations on the employer's representative/employee.

Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors within the scope of authority and responsibility.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
