Carpenter

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to perform woodwork, furniture repair, and general carpentry tasks within the housing society. The carpenter will handle maintenance and repair requests from residents, as well as support new construction and renovation projects in communal areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry work including installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden doors, windows, cabinets, wardrobes, and furniture.
• Carry out wood cutting, shaping, assembling, and polishing as required.
• Repair or replace damaged furniture and fixtures in houses and common areas.
• Install locks, handles, hinges, and other hardware fittings.
• Assist in renovation or construction projects involving woodwork.
• Maintain carpentry tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure proper measurement, finishing, and quality of work.
• Respond to residents’ carpentry-related maintenance requests.
• Follow safety standards and society rules during all carpentry tasks.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in Carpentry or proven work experience as a Carpenter.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery.
• Knowledge of different wood types, fittings, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
