Carpenter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of carpentry, including remodeling, construction, and installation tasks. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites. The Carpenter will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Perform remodeling tasks including framing, siding installation, and flooring installation.
• Ensure that all work is completed according to specifications and building codes.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures as required.
• Conduct repairs on existing structures including drywall repair and roof maintenance.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on the construction site for electrical or plumbing tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficient in remodeling techniques and building methods.
• Strong knowledge of installation processes for siding, flooring, doors, and drywall.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with construction site safety practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Strong physical stamina and dexterity for handling tools and materials effectively.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
