About the Role

Moltz is looking for a Carpenter to support our 2-year expansion project in Broomfield, CO.

As a Carpenter at Moltz, you will:

• Read blueprints for work planning
• Understand concrete forming, be able to build concrete forms, and other structures
• Complete rough and finishing carpentry tasks, while utilizing appropriate math skills
• Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location. Be able to adjust work as required
• Cut, shape, and join
• Layout and place rebar
• Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Manager or Human Resources

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects; use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively jump, sprint, or throw objects.
• Perform good manual dexterity and multilimbed coordination.
• Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary- $23.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience
