Duties

• Perform framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and finishing to create structurally sound and visually appealing interiors and exteriors.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and install various building components.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects according to specifications.
• Install fixtures such as cabinetry, doors, siding, roofing materials, mold remediation systems, and other architectural elements.
• Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry repairs as needed.
• Engage in restoration projects including water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, siding replacement, and general building repairs.
• Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks under supervision or as part of integrated project teams.
• Perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to OSHA standards; manage materials efficiently on-site.
• Apply caulking, roofing techniques, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, and other specialized skills to ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
• Read schematics for HVAC systems or other mechanical components when involved in remodeling or restoration projects.
• Support team efforts in remodeling projects by fabricating custom parts or adjusting existing structures for optimal fit and function.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction estimating to accurately assess project scope and resource needs.
• Proficiency in various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, woodworking, metal stud framing, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), CNC machinery for fabrication tasks.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for precise project execution across diverse construction disciplines.
• Experience with concrete forming techniques and masonry work; familiarity with rebar installation for structural integrity.
• Capable of performing roofing tasks including shingle application or membrane roofing systems; siding installation for exterior finishes.
• Knowledge of plastering techniques such as stucco application; ability to handle water damage restoration projects effectively.
• Ability to perform plumbing installations or repairs; electrical experience preferred for integrated project tasks.
• Familiarity with mold remediation procedures; experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable.
• Expertise in flooring installation (tile laying), painting (construction painting), drywall finishing & plastering for interior projects.
• Experience with fabrication processes for custom parts; ability to interpret schematics for mechanical or electrical systems involved in remodeling projects.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials safely; excellent problem-solving skills; team-oriented mindset committed to quality craftsmanship. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.40 - $30.59 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
