Carpenter

Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures, including walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, cabinets, doors, and windows.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine the scope of work and material requirements.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
• Assemble and fasten structures and fixtures using nails, screws, glue, and other fasteners.
• Finish carpentry work, including sanding, staining, and painting.
• Maintenance and Repair:
• Inspect and assess the condition of existing structures and fixtures.
• Repair damaged or worn-out structures and fixtures.
• Perform other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Has knowledge in reading drawings and preparing cutting lists.
• Has knowledge in finishing work as per drawings and specifications.
• Has knowledge in material follow-up and machine operations.
• Has knowledge in operating required machines independently.
• Has knowledge in taking site measurements accurately.
• Has knowledge in making jigs to achieve faster and efficient output.
• Has knowledge in guiding and supervising other carpenters in drawings and cutting lists.
• Has knowledge in maintaining a strong sense of responsibility and workmanship.
