Carpenter

Southern Lakes Decks & Remodeling, LLC is looking to add two carpenters to our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in framing, rough carpentry, and remodeling. As a carpenter at Southern Lakes Decks & Remodeling, LLC you would be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

• Carpentry: Constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, plywood and wallboard.
• Framing: Building and assembling framework for decks and walls.
• Rough Carpentry: Measuring and cutting wood and other materials to size, joining materials with nails, screws, bolts, or glue, and checking work with levels, plumb bobs, or other tools.
• Remodeling: Renovating and remodeling existing structures, including kitchens, bathrooms, and other interior / exterior spaces.

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years experience as a carpenter.
• Attention to details is a must.
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Good communication skills.
