Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to perform woodworking and construction tasks, including cutting, assembling, and repairing wooden frameworks, furniture, and structures on-site. The ideal candidate should have expertise in using hand tools, power tools, and construction materials to deliver high-quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials.
• Construct, install, and repair frameworks, doors, windows, cabinets, staircases, partitions, and flooring.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
• Select and prepare materials based on project requirements.
• Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, polishing, and varnishing.
• Inspect and repair damaged wooden structures or furniture.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and other construction workers to complete projects on time.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in woodworking techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and measurements accurately.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Physical strength, stamina, and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification or vocational training in carpentry is an advantage.
