CARPENTER FOREMAN - Formworks

Location: Mogadishu, Somalia secure zone

Project type:

5-star hotel + convention hall construction in Mogadishu, Somalia.

Project duration:

2 years

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Supervise carpentry teams handling formwork, shuttering, doors, windows, and finishing

✔ Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

✔ Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity and quality

✔ Ensure accuracy, alignment, and finishing standards are met

✔ Enforce HSE and PPE compliance on site

✔ Coordinate with engineers, civil foremen, and site supervisors

✔ Maintain daily progress reports and workforce records

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter Foreman or Senior Carpenter
• Strong knowledge of formwork and finishing carpentry
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Must communicate clearly in English
