Carpenter Foreman - Wood

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of carpenters and helpers on-site
• Plan, assign, and monitor daily carpentry tasks and activities
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
• Ensure all carpentry work is completed accurately and on schedule
• Inspect work to maintain quality standards and compliance
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Monitor material usage and request supplies when needed
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
• Train and mentor junior carpenters and helpers

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical certification in carpentry or related field
• Proven experience as a Carpenter Foreman or Senior Carpenter
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and site plans
• Leadership and team management skills
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Physically fit and capable of working on-site
