Carpenter Helper / Laborer

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Carpenter Helper to join our team. This role supports our lead carpenters on a variety of residential and/or commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate is motivated, eager to learn, and able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and installing materials
• Carry, load, and organize tools, lumber, and job materials
• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision
• Keep the job site clean, safe, and organized
• Help with framing, demolition, trim work, and general carpentry tasks
• Follow instructions and work closely with the carpentry team
• Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with coworkers and clients
• Assist with various drainage and erosion control projects.

Requirements

• Previous construction, drainage, erosion or carpentry experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Basic knowledge of tools and job-site safety
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
