Carpenter / Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and construction processes. This role requires hands-on experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. You will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

• Perform frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for project execution
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Engage in concrete forming, plastering, and stucco application
• Conduct heavy lifting as necessary for materials and equipment
• Participate in roofing, siding, and flooring installation projects
• Assist with water damage restoration and mold remediation tasks
• Carry out plumbing, electrical work, masonry, and remodeling duties as needed
• Execute fixture installation and door hanging with precision
• Collaborate with team members on various construction projects to ensure timely completion

Skills

• Proficient in construction estimating and project planning
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
• Experience with rebar installation and fabrication processes
• Familiarity with CNC machinery and assembly practices
• Ability to perform construction painting with attention to detail
• Understanding of metal stud framing techniques
• Previous experience in the restoration industry is a plus
• Capable of reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.84 - $27.51 per hour
