Position Overview

Ultra PC Gamers is seeking a skilled Carpenter & Structural Fabricator responsible for building and assembling wooden and structural components for custom gaming PC cases, display units, exhibition booths, and themed fabrication projects.

The role requires precision, structural understanding, and the ability to integrate woodwork with foam, resin, fiberglass, metal, and PC hardware components within high-end custom builds.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Wood Fabrication

• Cut, assemble, and construct structures using MDF, plywood, and solid wood
• Construct display stands, podiums, and themed bases
• Develop structural supports for extreme and one-of-one builds

Precision Cutting and Assembly

• Operate table saws, panel saws, routers, and cutting machinery
• Ensure accurate measurement, alignment, and leveling
• Perform joint techniques including dowel, screw, glue, and reinforcement brackets
• Maintain dimensional accuracy according to technical drawings and 3D designs

Integration with Modding and Fabrication Team

• Work closely with foam, composite, and paint specialists
• Prepare wooden frames for fiberglass and resin coating
• Ensure proper internal clearance for GPU, PSU, radiators, and cooling systems
• Plan airflow pathways and cable routing space within structures
• Execute projects based on CAD drawings and CNC files when required

Surface Preparation and Finishing

• Perform sanding and surface smoothing
• Apply wood fillers where necessary
• Prepare structures for primer and paint application
• Deliver paint-ready finishing standards suitable for premium builds

Exhibition and Display Fabrication

• Build exhibition booth structures and display units
• Fabricate custom bases and themed installations
• Construct protective transport crates for high-value PC builds
• Assist with onsite installation when required

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of carpentry or structural fabrication experience
• Strong knowledge of MDF, plywood, and wood reinforcement methods
• Experience operating woodworking machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Understanding of structural strength and load support
• High attention to detail and finishing quality
• Ability to work under production deadlines

Tools Knowledge Required

• Table saw and panel saw
• Router machine
• Drill and impact driver
• Clamps and measuring tools
• Sanding machines
• Basic CNC router knowledge preferred
