Job Summary

A Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures. This role involves reading Floorplans & drawings, taking accurate measurements, selecting quality materials, and working with hand and power tools to complete various projects in Events.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Take precise measurements and lay out carpentry work according to plans and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Build, install, and repair wood frameworks, structures, and fixtures (e.g., walls, floors, cabinets, doors).
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Indeed
• Inspect and repair damaged structures and recommend improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:
✔ Proven experience in carpentry or a related construction role (e.g., rough, finish, or framing carpentry).
✔ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical plans.
✔ Skilled with hand and power tools (saws, drills, levels, etc.).
✔ Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements.
✔ Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:
✔ Vocational training, apprenticeship, or certification in carpentry or related trade.
✔ Knowledge of construction safety regulations.
✔ Experience with multiple carpentry specialties (trim, framing, cabinetry).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on physically demanding tasks. Indeed

Job Title: Part-Time Carpenter – Events & Exhibitions

Location: Dubai & Abu Dhabi
Job Type: Part-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Carpenter to join our events and exhibitions team. You will build, assemble, install, and dismantle wooden structures, booths, props, and sets for events, exhibitions, and pop-ups. The ideal candidate has practical carpentry experience, good attention to detail, and enjoys project-based work.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and assemble event structures: Construct and install wooden stands, booths, props, and other event elements according to design plans and measurements.
• Interpret drawings and specs: Read simple drawings, layouts, or instructions from the design/production team.
• Measure, cut & fit materials: Accurately measure, cut, shape, and join wood and related materials on-site.
• On-site installation & dismantling: Assist with installation before events and safe removal/breakdown when events finish.
• Tool operation: Use hand and power tools (saws, drills, sanders, etc.) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain quality: Ensure final finishes are neat, secure, and aligned with quality expectations.
• Clean work areas: Keep workspaces tidy and follow safety practices while on site.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:
✔ Practical carpentry experience — especially with event, exhibition, or stand building preferred.
✔ Ability to read basic measurements and drawings.
✔ Skilled with hand and power tools.
✔ Good teamwork and communication.
✔ Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

Preferred
✔ Experience with event carpentry or exhibition build-outs.
✔ Knowledge of finishing materials (MDF, acrylic, paint).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 per week
