Carrier Account Manager

About the Role:

On behalf of Huawei, a world-renowned it and communications company, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to serve as the primary owner of our customer interface. This role is pivotal in building and nurturing strategic relationships with key accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding client needs, driving business solutions, and achieving mutual success. A deep understanding of the UAE telecommunications market is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Plan, establish, maintain, and promote strong customer connections. Act as the main company representative to understand and accurately translate customer requirements, manage expectations, and build a trusted, win-win partnership.
  • Strategic Business Facilitation: Deeply understand customer strategies, business objectives, and network challenges. Identify, guide, and influence customer needs to provide tailored solutions that drive their business success.
  • Sales Project Leadership: Act as the Project Director (PD) or core team member for key projects. Cultivate market opportunities, lead effective project operations, and achieve all project objectives.
  • End-to-End Transaction Ownership: Take full responsibility for the E2E transaction and operational management for projects and business units. Ensure high transaction quality and the effective achievement of business goals.
  • Customer Advocacy: Represent the customer within the company to drive internal management and capability improvements. Mobilize internal and external resources to deliver optimal business solutions.

Measurement Criteria:

Performance will be measured based on customer satisfaction, achievement of business goals, project success, and the quality of managed transactions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Knowledge/Skills:
  • Fundamental sales knowledge, including product expertise, sales processes, finance, and transaction models.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UAE telecommunications carrier landscape and established relationships within this sector are required.

Core Capabilities:

  • Exceptional customer relationship building and management skills.
  • Strong ability to understand customer requirements and match them with effective solutions.
  • Proven project management and operational capability.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • proficient transaction and contract management capability.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a similar role such as Account Manager or Solution Sales Manager.
  • A proven background in account management, specifically within a telecommunications carrier environment in the UAE, is essential.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Meticulous, conscientious, and possesses a strong sense of responsibility.

Process Involvement:

The role is involved in key company processes including Manage Customer Relationship (MCR), Manage Sales Opportunity (MO), Manage Contract Execution (MCE), and Manage Authorization and Execution (MAE).

This position reports directly to the Director of the Sales Department
