2D Cartoon Animator Needed for 5-Minute Dialogue Project

Job Title: Freelance 2D Cartoon Animator

Project Overview:
We are looking for a skilled 2D cartoon animator to create a 5-minute animated video based on an existing dialogue script. The animation should capture the look and feel of shows like Daria — minimalist, witty, expressive, and character-driven.

Responsibilities:

• Animate a full 5-minute sequence based on a provided voiceover/dialogue track.
• Design characters and backgrounds in a style inspired by Daria (clean, flat, slightly satirical look).
• Sync animation with dialogue and timing cues.
• Collaborate on creative direction to ensure the animation matches tone and humor.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in 2D animation (portfolio required).
• Strong storytelling and character design skills.
• Proficiency with animation software (e.g., Toon Boom, Adobe Animate, After Effects, or similar).
• Ability to deliver on deadline (estimated project length: 4–6 weeks).

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience animating dialogue-driven shorts.
• Interest in satirical or slice-of-life cartoon styles.
