We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team in the food production industry. Duties
- Carve and serve a variety of meats (beef, pork, chicken, lamb, etc.) tableside in the traditional gaucho style
- Maintain correct cooking and serving temperatures; monitor meat quality and presentation
- Coordinate timing and flow of meat service with kitchen and waitstaff
- Engage with guests—explain cuts, take guest preferences, ensure satisfaction
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in all operations
- Maintain carving station, tools, and grill area in clean, organized condition
- Assist kitchen staff as needed (prepping, rotating cuts, restocking)
- Be flexible in performing additional tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
Requirements
- Experience in meat carving, grilling, butchery, or a similar role preferred
- Excellent knife skills and knowledge of meat cuts and doneness levels
- Strong guest service orientation and comfortable interacting with customers
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical stamina: able to stand for long periods, lift moderately heavy items
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation best practices
- Reliable, punctual, and team-minded
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
