Case Management Associate (Housing Programs)

Starting Pay: $22/hour (DOE)

Position Summary
J Bar J Youth Services is seeking a compassionate and organized Case Management Associate to support participants in our housing programs. This role works closely with Case Managers to provide client-centered services and ensure continuity of care during periods of increased demand. This position also offers a pathway into a Case Manager role, with the opportunity to transition after 3 months based on performance and program needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular client check-ins and support progress toward housing stability
• Assist Case Managers with caseload coordination and client follow-up
• Maintain accurate service notes and client documentation (HMIS experience preferred)
• Collect and organize required client documents (ID, income, benefits, etc.)
• Ensure client files are complete, accurate, and audit-ready
• Collaborate with team members to support coordinated service delivery
• Help prepare clients for housing placement in coordination with Housing staff

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable populations (housing or social services preferred)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to a client-centered, trauma-informed approach
• HMIS experience is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Familiarity with housing programs such as Rapid Rehousing (RRH), Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), or youth services
