We’re hiring a Civil Litigation Case Manager to own discovery and case management for contested lawsuits. From car wrecks to complex disputes, you’ll be the one ensuring cases move smoothly, deadlines are met, and attorneys are trial-ready.
What you’ll do:
- Draft & File Pleadings: Complaints, answers, motions, and orders that make opposing counsel rethink their life choices.
- Master Discovery: Draft and track interrogatories, requests for admission/production, and responses like a hawk.
- Client Interface: Answer routine questions, gather documents, and set client expectations with confidence.
- Case-Load Management: Guide up to 300 active files through deadlines, hearings, and settlements.
- Attorney Collaboration: Deliver concise case updates and flag issues before they become disasters.
- Record Organization: Maintain impeccable files, digital and physical, ready for court at a moment’s notice.
What we’re looking for:

- Experience: 1+ year in civil litigation, personal injury, or discovery-heavy role (preferred). Exceptional newcomers with rock-solid writing chops will be considered.
- Bilingual: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
- Discovery Ninja: Fluent in Texas rules and federal FRCP discovery demands.
- Research & Writing: You can brief a thorny issue in plain English—and proof your work without Grammarly holding your hand.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable in case-management platforms, MS Office, and e-filing portals.
- Soft Skills: Positive, coachable, stress-resilient, and genuinely curious about the law (clock-punchers need not apply).
- On-Site Commitment: Full-time at our El Paso office once renovations finish; brief remote training period possible.
