Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM
Salary: $42,000 annually

About Us

Children’s Emergency Shelter/Ozark Family Resource Center provides essential therapeutic support to homeless children and adolescents in the foster care system. We aim to offer a safe, secure, homelike setting, and nurturing environment to help our clients thrive.

OFRC shelters youth who:

  • Need short-term housing because of a family emergency or crisis.
  • Have recently been removed from the home for safety reasons.
  • Are homeless or are unsafely housed and not in foster care.

Job Summary

The Case Manager plays a crucial role in advocating for clients and ensuring they receive all necessary services and resources as outlined in their treatment plans. This involves coordinating services efficiently and documenting their availability. The Case Manager facilitates communication among team members, both internal and external, to ensure everyone is aligned in supporting the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in crisis intervention with youth.
  • Arrange transportation to community appointments.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and their families.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with youth and document interactions with agencies and parents.
  • Coordinate scheduling for treatment and staffing reviews.
  • Prepare information for psychiatric medication evaluations.
  • Manage school enrollment and transitions.
  • Meet with parents, caseworkers, and guardians for new admissions to complete paperwork and assessments.
  • Ensure smooth transitions to the cottage for new clients.
  • Organize and deliver all required documentation, medications, and personal belongings upon discharge.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being of clients and support the mission of KVC Missouri.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or related degree

Licensure/Certification: Able to obtain a class E driver's license and meet KVC Missouri’s requirement for driver’s insurance
