About the Role:

We’re looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) Criminal Law Paralegal with a sharp eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of criminal procedure in Florida and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting attorneys through every phase of a criminal case.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, file, and organize legal documents including pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and subpoenas
• Review arrest reports, evidence, and discovery materials
• Coordinate with clients, prosecutors, courts, and law enforcement agencies
• Prepare and maintain organized case files for hearings, trials, and depositions
• File documents via the Florida e-Filing Portal and courtMap
• Schedule hearings, deadlines, and appointments accurately
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including witness coordination and exhibit organization
• Communicate directly with clients to provide updates, gather documents, and explain next steps in their cases

What We’re Looking For: Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Florida criminal law and court procedures
• Familiarity with misdemeanor, felony, and traffic offenses
• Strong drafting, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• Experience using legal case management software
• Detail-oriented and able to thrive under deadlines

Pay: $19.00 - $29.00 per hour
