Case Manager

If you are organized, detail-oriented, and have a passion for assisting survivors of domestic violence we encourage you to apply to be apart of our team. Safe Harbor Family Crisis Center has been providing survivors of domestic violence with programs and services in Knox County since 1990.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support to survivors during their time of crisis and navigation of resources.
• Assist survivors in preparing documents for resources such as housing, employment, medical and educational needs.
• Assist survivors with implementing plans and linking them to resources.
• Be familiar with community supports, resources and social service agencies.
• Documentation of services for client files.
• Crisis line coverage rotation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proof of vehicle insurance
• Access to vehicle during business hours
• Withhold to confidentiality
• Will need to complete a 40-hour domestic violence training at start of employment.
• Be familiar with the Illinois Domestic Violence Act

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
