Case Manager - Jail and Drug Court

** $2,000 sign-on bonus available, according to AHCS policy**

Alleghany Highlands Community Services provides services and support to individuals in our community with behavioral health challenges and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Provides clinical, case management, and consultation services for individuals with primary mental illness, who are currently incarcerated. Develops and maintains working relationships with individuals served, jail staff, drug court staff and other community agencies and resources as needed to assure quality services.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field (required)
• Meet Virginia requirements for Qualified Mental Health Professional or Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee (required)
• Valid Driver's License (required)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides services to mentally ill and co-occurring individuals in incarcerated settings.
• Aids in transitioning consumers who are released from local jails to arrange for services with AHCS, if services are desired by consumer and/or required to maintain consumer's stability in community
• Establishes and maintains community referral network and advocates for services on behalf of individuals and their families
